Kutandara Center supports many ensembles that perform publicly to share music and educate audiences about African cultures and histories.
All Kutandara Center ensembles are also available for hire privately to provide music and entertainment for your next special event.
Our bands perform primarily in the summer months, but occasionally perform publicly during the school year. Please contact us if you would like to be placed on our email list to receive announcements of upcoming performances and Kutandara Center events.

Join us for the premiere of Shanduko/Metamorphosis by Kutandara's own Randy McIntosh. This transformative piece, in five movements, had its genesis in a community tragedy. Using the resonance of marimbas, singing, and electronica ~ combined with aerial dance, we consider themes of hope, flight and inspiration. You'll also enjoy individual performances by Kutandara, Frequent Flyers® Aerial Dance and the Boulder Chorale Chamber Singers in the intimate setting of the Boulder Dairy Center for the Arts.
