Kutandara Center supports many ensembles that perform publicly to share music and educate audiences about African cultures and histories.
All Kutandara Center ensembles are also available for hire privately to provide music and entertainment for your next special event.
Our bands perform primarily in the summer months, but occasionally perform publicly during the school year. Please contact us if you would like to be placed on our email list to receive announcements of upcoming performances and Kutandara Center events.
Please join us for The Music Train Family Concert Series this Saturday, January 16th, from 4-6 pm at the D'Note in Olde Town Arvada. This month will feature Boulder's own Kutandara, a Marimba Ensemble performing African inspired music. Bring the whole family and enjoy great food, drinks, dancing and music in a venue that welcomes all ages. These concerts are held the third Saturday of every month and showcase various genres of music by great local bands at a time and place that everyone can enjoy. Great music is great music no matter what your age and The Music Train works to provide opportunities for families to participate and attend musical events that are fun and enriching for everyone. It's like bringing the summer outdoor festivals inside! For more information please visit http://ridethemusictrain.com/family_concerts.
