Workshops are offered periodically for new students to try the music and for current students to enhance classroom learning. In workshops, you have the opportunity to more deeply understand a song or concept within the music.

Marimba for Adults: Introductory Workshop
Even if you have never played an instrument, you can do it, too! Our 1-1⁄2 hour introductory adult marimba workshops focus on giving adults a “second chance” (or a first!) at music. No prior musical experience necessary. Come try it!

Want to Sing This Summer? Interested in Learning Misa Tariro? Come Join Us!
This summer, come learn McIntosh’s Misa Tariro with Boulder Chorale Director, Timothy Snyder and Kutandara. Singers will meet four times to learn the vocals to all Misa Tariro movements and then be joined for an additional three rehearsals with Kutandara marimba players to put the vocals together with the marimbas. Participants will have an opportunity to perform sections of the Misa Tariro around the greater Boulder area as teasers for the November 2008 premier.
